Second Helpings Atlanta is proud to honor Ed Bastian, CEO of Delta Air Lines, and Delta for their steadfast partnership in the fight against food waste and hunger. Since the first food rescue from Delta’s corporate campus in 2018, Delta has become one of SHA’s most impactful partners-contributing more than $180,000, engaging hundreds of volunteers, and rescuing over 1.2 million pounds of food, efforts that have translated into more than 1.6 million meals for families across metro Atlanta and exemplify the power of corporate leadership in building a healthier, more sustainable community.
