The annual Adventure Bags Gala, hosted at the Braselton Civic Center, attracted a distinguished assembly of guests, including State Representative Houston Gaines, Holt Persinger, and Hannah M. Palmquist from the Attorney General’s Office, alongside Sheriff Jud Smith, Assistant District Attorney Andy Crawford, and notable speakers such as Debbie Milner, and Lt. Faye Spaulding and Lt. Jenny Howell with the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office. Master of Ceremonies was Melinda Shealey.
The evening was catered by K’s Kitchen, with a photobooth by Southern Night’s Photobooths, a musical backdrop by DJ Alex Ward.
The 2024 Adventure Bags Gala demonstrated the community’s commitment to safeguard and support the well-being of Georgia’s most vulnerable children, emphasizing the crucial role of community and collaboration in this noble cause. The Adventure Bags’ 2024 initiative will bring partnerships with agencies throughout Georgia providing direct services to children being rescued from trafficking.
