The Governor’s Office and the Georgia Historical Society recognize Georgians who have accomplishments and community service efforts that “reflect the highest ideals of the founding body of Trustees.” This year’s inductees include Carol Tome, Dr. Louis Sullivan, 17th United States Secretary of Health and Human Services and Founding Dean of the acclaimed Morehouse School of Medicine. Due to high demand for seats, the gala reservations are for Georgia History Festival corporate sponsorship and host committee members among a select group of others. There is also a waiting list available for more general seating.
