Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra opens the indoor season on Saturday, November 18, 2023 with “American Soundscapes,” featuring American violinist Kevin Zhu – 2012 winner of the Yehudi Menuhin Competition. Mr. Zhu, who has established himself as a leading figure among the next generation of musicians, will be performing Bruch’s Scottish Fantasy.
The remainder of this concert will celebrate the sounds of Americana, including Charles Ives’ Variations on America, Woodland Sketches by MacDowell, and Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring Suite.
