The 32nd annual High Museum Atlanta Wine Auction is the largest wine auction to benefit the arts in the United States. It’s raised more than $39 million for the museum over 31 years. More than 130 wineries and restaurants will participate as the Auction celebrates its 2024 theme, “Party with a Purpose,” in the tents at Atlantic Station.

Since its inception in 1993, the Auction has significantly supported the High’s exhibitions and educational programs. The Paddle Raise, established in 2006, has contributed more than $2 million to the museum’s Art Access program.

Vintners’ Reception and Live Auctionis the main event of the week and slated to celebrate wine, food, art and friendship, with more than 80 world-class vintners and dozens of popular Atlanta’s restaurants showcasing top-tier wines and delicious samples. During the Live Auction, benefactors bid on lots featuring unique experiences, unforgettable wines and once-in-a-lifetime.

11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., March 23, The Big Tents at Atlantic Station, 1380 Atlantic Drive NW, Atlanta.

“We look forward to uniting under the tents once again with great company, food and wine while supporting the High’s mission-driven programming and outreach efforts,” said Rand Suffolk, director of the High. “The funds raised each year are vital to our operations, and this event is a fantastic reminder of the unmatched generosity of our community and supporters.”

“This new and improved Wine Auction is bound to entertain and inspire,” added Allison Chance, the High’s director of development. “The High is a cornerstone in the Atlanta community, and we strive to provide the best Auction experience possible for those who generously support us and our endeavors each year. We can’t wait to make history again alongside new and old friends alike.”

The 2024 Wine Auction co-chairs are Carli Reis and Cathy Rhodes. Reis has served as a benefactor in recent years. Rhodes served as a benefactor co-chair in 2020, and she and her husband have enjoyed collecting wine and traveling to global wine regions for the last 30 years.

The 2024 Special Guest of Honor is Cristián Vallejo, VIK Wine’s chief winemaker. After partnering with Alex and Carrie Vik in 2007, together the trio created VIK Wine, the luxurious winery and hotel located in Chile. At the winery, Vallejo has helped create three amazing wines, each with its own artistic complexity that intersects at elegant and well-balanced tannins. Vallejo and the Viks are now working on new projects that showcase their terroir in the purest form.
