Shaken, Not Stirred Gala
The Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance hosted its 2024 Shaken, Held at the Georgia Aquairum, the evening of elegance and purpose supported the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance's outreach programs, education initiatives and awareness efforts across the state.
The Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance hosted its 2024 Shaken, Not Stirred Gala at the Georgia Aquarium. The evening of elegance and purpose supported GOCA’s ovarian cancer patient outreach programs, education initiatives and awareness efforts across the state and raised $295,000.
Guests enjoyed exquisite dining prepared by Les Dames d’Escoffier, specialty cocktails, casino games, dazzling live and silent auctions, a 360 video booth and entertainment from the Celebrity All Star Band. The gala’s title is a James Bond Theme that’s been successful over the years.

Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance (GOCA) increases awareness and educates Georgia’s women of all ages and their families, as well as the healthcare community about the risks and symptoms leading to early detection. GOCA serves the state of Georgia with public outreach programs, education and awareness efforts. With no sure way of predicting ovarian cancer and no single screening test to identify it at the earlier, pre-symptomatic stages, awareness and education are critical for all women in order to protect themselves.
