Social Snapshot: Beth Brown

The president of The Halpern Oppenheimer Foundation and interior designer speaks to us in her own words.

Native Atlantan Beth Brown is the President of The Halpern Oppenheimer Foundation, an organization founded to supports over 20 organizations including The Jewish Federation of Atlanta.  The organization was established by Brown’s family to honor her grandfather, businessman Bernard Halpern of Halpern Enterprises.  Brown, along with her aunt Caroline Oppenheimer, serve on the board of the foundation.

Brown also owns an interior design company Beth Brown Interiors, working to create timeless spaces that also support the realities of 21st century life. Brown’s work has been featured in Modern Luxury Interiors, The Atlantan, Atlanta Magazine’s HOME, The Spruce, among other publications.

A native Atlantan, Brown has a BA from the University of Texas and a Master’s Degrees from New York University and Georgia State University. Brown currently lives in Buckhead with her husband Dr. Gavin Brown and their two children, Zachary and Zoe.
