SocialSnapshot: Fennell “Kali” Cunningham
The tattoo artist and founder of Huglife Cares speaks to us in his own words.
Kali Cunningham is a tattoo artist and the founder of Huglife Cares, a nonprofit organization he founded in 2013 through which he regularly hosts community events.
“My mom inspired me to start it,” Cunningham told Fresh Take Georgia’s Kelsey Henry. “She used to be a part of Comcast Cares, and I would go help her and witness first-hand that people really need help.”
Today, there are thousands of volunteers participating community events such as clean ups, food drives, and a turkey drive, which is now dedicated to Cunningham’s mother, who – reports Fresh Take Georgia – has since died of cancer.
