Tom Brady to Help “Keep Delta Climbing”
The NFL Legend will partner with the airline in employee training, marketing and community building.
Delta Air Lines announced it has teamed up with philanthropist, seven-time Super Bowl champion, and entrepreneur Tom Brady, who will work with the airline as a long-term strategic adviser, Delta said in a press release.
“I am grateful to be joining the Delta family,” Brady said. “Growing up with a mother as a flight attendant, I have always admired the people that make seamless air transportation possible.”
The partnership will involve Brady in strategic initiatives. For example, Brady will partner with Delta to develop and advise on training and teamwork tools for the airline’s more than 90,000 employees. He will – with the company’s Delta’s “Keep Climbing” ethos – support Delta’s brand identity in select marketing campaigns. And Brady will support Delta’s work to positively impact communities where employees live and work, inspiring the next generation of Delta community leaders.
“Delta’s people are driven by their commitment to world-class performance, excellence and a desire to achieve best-in-class results,” said Delta CEO Ed Bastian. “Bringing a leader like Tom onto the Delta team furthers our mission to connect the world while accelerating our drive to continuously improve for our colleagues, customers and communities.”
In his first year, Brady will work closely with Delta’s employees for onboarding, cultural familiarity and immersion into the Delta organization. Brady will also appear on Bastian’s “Gaining Altitude” — a one-on-one discussion series featuring important conversations around overcoming adversity, performance, perseverance and more.
An NFL legend who is universally recognized among the greatest players in league history, Brady retired in 2023 after 23 illustrious seasons. Off the field, Brady has always worked to bridge the gap between athlete and entrepreneur which is apparent through various successful initiatives he has led and companies he has co-founded. These diverse endeavors include his web3 brand Autograph; his namesake next generation apparel brand BRADY; TB12, his health and wellness brand; 199 Productions, a global multi-platform production company; and his partnership with the Consello Group. Additionally, Brady has continued to demonstrate his passion for competition and his relentless pursuit of performance excellence with his involvement in E1 Series and The Las Vegas Aces as well as several highly successful global endeavors with Knighthead Capital Management including Birmingham City Football Club, Hertz Team JOTA and Major League Pickleball.
